The prefecture of La Réunion has communicated the prices of fuel and gas which are practiced on the island from August 1st. The liter of unleaded, but also that of diesel, saw their price increase by two euro cents.

As of August 1, 2023, a new increase will be recorded in the prices of unleaded and diesel fuel. Both will be two cents more expensive at the pump.
Thus, the price of a liter of diesel will drop from 1.29 euro to 1.31 euro, and that of unleaded from 1.66 euro to 1.68 euro.
The price of the bottle of gas is maintained at 15 euros, thanks to local aid renewed until December 31, 2023. The permanent committee of the Department indeed voted, at the end of last June, the extension of the aid until at the end of the year.
