scratch. On Sunday, August 6th, the jazz summer starts into a special year. Then The popular concert series is taking place in Erkrath for the 25th time. It will be officially opened at 11 a.m. by Mayor Christoph Schultz.

Jazz fans can then get together on the first three Sundays in August, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m
3 p.m., look forward to swinging and dancing together once more in the Lokschuppen Hochdahl. There will also be an additional anniversary concert on Saturday, August 19, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., which will tempt visitors with optional snack packages.

At the start of this year, the Bluescats are guests with their Alex Reed musician Greg Copeland from Portsmouth, Virginia (USA) – one of the rockiest living blues singers. The Bluescats are considered the ideal band to bring the long blues history to life authentically, groovy and emotionally. Food and beverages are catered for by Hopmann’s pleasure catering at the Olive restaurant, which offers plenty of coffee and cake, hearty grilled dishes and delicious tarte flambée in the neighboring garden kitchen. Admission begins at 10:30am.

Tickets are available in advance and at the box office (cash only) for twelve euros. Children and young people up to the age of 14 have free admission.
