The Canadian Synchrotron Light Centre, located at the University of Saskatchewan, has participated in the discovery of a protein that influences the evolution of cancers.

According to researcher and undergraduate student at the Okanagan campus of the University of British Columbia, Alexis Gauvin, the Center played a vital role in the discovery, by providing details on the structure of the protein.
