The Minister of Economy and presidential candidate of Union for the Fatherland, Sergio Massa defended the new agricultural dollar and pointed out that he never had “a dogmatic or prejudiced confrontation” with the agricultural sector. In addition, he advanced that from September 1 there will be no regional economies that pay withholdings on exports.

About his eventual government, he said: “We believe that it is fundamental that Congress sanction the Agribusiness Law, because we understand that the greater added value of our exports will serve to reduce the pressure on primary production in tax matters”.
Withholdings and regional economies
“I heard that throughout the morning it was raised and I do not want to get into controversy, they know that my style is to work and move forward, but I heard that there was talk of withholdings from regional economies. There are not 200 regional economies, there are only six left until August 30 and As of September 1, no regional economy will pay withholdings,” Massa remarked.
