The Carrefour jeunesse emploi de Frontenac and its Place aux jeunes Appalaches program will hold a major benefit event at the Thetford Convention Center on Friday, November 10, starting at 5 p.m., which will present the talents of young people from the region in a dynamic happy hour, followed by a comedy show hosted by Alex Roof. The latter will present young people who participated in the ConquéRire la scène project.
Everyone is invited to come and discover the young artists of the MRC des Appalaches in addition to tasting the talent of culinary artisans in a cocktail and appetizer formula. This unique event aims to provide a platform for young talent in the region in addition to raising funds to support the Place aux jeunes program. Ticket sales will be officially announced next September.
The organization’s mission is to promote the attraction, integration and retention of qualified young people aged 18 to 35 in the regions. The Place aux jeunes agent is able to support companies in their recruitment process by offering candidates from outside the MRC the opportunity to visit the region, but also to meet companies and economic players and introduce them to tourist and social attractions.
The Happening Place for young people was created with the aim of promoting the various talents present locally and offering them an accessible and attractive platform to promote their art. From now on, it will be possible for young people aged 35 and under who wish to attend this evening to register via the link Places and spaces available are limited. All forms of art be it literary, performing, musical, visual art, craft and more are welcome.
The Happening Place for young people will also be an opportunity for culinary artisans and restaurateurs in the region to have direct and preferential access with their clientele.
