Relatives of residents denounce the situation. The latter believe that the biggest shortcoming in this case is the lack of personnel.
“You’re safe in your saddles, we have to take care of other people,” we said to an elder who asked to be changed, reports Johanne Philipps, her sister.

She’s not the only one claiming to be a victim in this establishment. Other families claim to have experienced similar events.
According to Action santé Outaouais, this is a deplorable situation.
“There is a code of ethics that exists for the entire health network. Obviously, we do not respect this code of ethics there, ”says Denis Marcheterre, president of the organization Action santé Outaouais.
“I find it difficult to look my mother in the face without crying,” saddens Lyse St-Jacques, whose mother is a resident of the CHSLD Ernest-Brisson.
