Paléo 2023 was ‘a great vintage’: the organizers drew a very positive assessment of the Nyon festival on Sunday. While a tragedy might be avoided, a happy event marked this 46th edition.
For six days, and once once more sold out, Paléo welcomed ‘250,000 and one’ festival-goers, its director Daniel Rossellat had fun, referring to the birth which took place ‘prematurely and unexpectedly’ at the campsite overnight from Thursday to Friday.
The same evening, Paléo had a big scare with the discomfort of a festival-goer. “His life was put in danger but, thanks to the rapid intervention of the emergency services, he was saved,” said Daniel Rossellat. No other major incident marked the week.
‘All the ingredients have been brought together to make a great vintage’, rejoiced the boss. The weather was favourable, the public ‘enchanted and curious’, the artists lived up to expectations.
