EDo you want to work at “La Piscine”, as some agents call the French spy agency? It’s possible ! The General Directorate of External Security (DGSE) is recruiting. This year, the information center provides for nearly 800 hires. It is not only a question of replacing the cohorts of baby-boomers who are retiring but also and above all of beefing up this administration responsible for protecting French interests everywhere on the planet. But the needs in this area are immense.

There are officially 7,000 agents ( once morest less than 4,000 when the Berlin Wall fell) working today in the ranks of the DGSE. If the numbers targeted by 2030 remain secret, the military programming law for the years 2024 to 2030…
