And he added, “Where are you when the Free Patriotic Movement alone bears the battle of accountability for Riad Salameh, who stole the money of the Lebanese, enriched, stole and laundered money, and everyone is silent because they are holding and you are the only ones who have the right to ask because they are not holding and because the movement has no price and no one can pay for it.”
And he continued, “And where are you when the Free Patriotic Movement is the only bearer of the battle to end the criminal scrutiny and edit the report, and all of them are silent.”
And he continued, “And where are you when the Free Patriotic Movement alone is the bearer of campaigning for rights and defending the position of the presidency?”
And he added, “When does a government come to usurp powers, the charter, and the constitution?”
And he said, “Where are you when the Free Patriotic Movement alone, since 2011, launched a national campaign regarding the Syrian displacement, and all of them remained silent.”
And he added, “The most important thing is that you are free from corruption. They are trying to strip you of the dress of reform and clothe you in the dress of corruption. If the current is not able to end the time of punishment in Lebanon and compromise the rights of an entire people, a patriotic movement will be invalidated.”
Bassil pointed out that “all their concerns are two things:
1 – It is enough for Riad Salameh to rule over their protector to implement the same policies with the ponzi scheme
2 – Let this unconstitutional and illegitimate government appoint a second position following the President of the Republic, so that it takes to confirm its right to run the country and operate in the absence of a president.
He called for “not continuing with the same policies of Riad Salameh, and I warn anyone who wants to continue with them, especially the governor’s deputies, once morest holding them responsible and prosecuting them legally in the event of adopting the same illegal policies. And in the event of their fear, let them step down or take responsibility for those of them who are able to confront and adopt a reform policy.”
And he continued, “If none of the ruler’s deputies wants or appreciates taking responsibility, the judiciary has the right to appoint a judicial guard.”
Bassil concluded, “Our sovereignty we want to exercise on our land and our land is ours, not to any other foreigner. We conveyed this speech with love, not in a vengeful language, to everyone who tries to force us to flee, whether it is a state, the European Union, or the Commission.
