The famous Egyptian singer and composer Ramy Gamal launched a sharp attack on the Lebanese singer Myriam Fares, in light of the accusations leveled once morest her earlier in insulting Egypt.
He said in a television interview that her success rate of 90% was due to Egypt, as there were no channels for songs except in Egypt.
He also added, “Myriam Fares has a pleasant voice, but it is not a terrible voice,” denouncing what he described as “forgetting Egypt’s goodness.”
And he explained: “Whoever forgets what he saw from the country cannot make a mistake, we will not leave you wrong. You are talking regarding a country and a sense of greatness, and he spoke in a good manner,” noting that Egypt is greater than the name of Myriam Fares.
He confirmed that he gave her a song more than a year ago, but until today, she did not pay him for it, explaining that she did not release the song, but she did not return the property rights to him.
He concluded his attack on Myriam Fares by saying: “Do not respond to me. What you took from me does not allow me to run following her for the rest of my life. The money that I have is a gift from me.”
