A Palestinian was shot dead by Israeli forces

On Saturday, an 18-year-old Palestinian boy was killed near Nablus in the West Bank. He is the second Palestinian to be shot dead by the Israeli army on Friday.

This incident comes amid heightened tensions in the West Bank.

Israeli forces on Friday evening killed a Palestinian man near the city of Nablus in Occupied West Bank, Palestinian officials announced on Saturday, the Israeli army referring to an “attempted ram attack”. Fawzi M., 18, “was killed by (Israeli) occupation bullets in the town of Sebastia,” near Nablus, the Palestinian health ministry said.

In a statement, the Israeli military described “an attempted car ramming attack,” adding that “(Israeli) forces responded by firing at the suspects in the vehicle, the driver was neutralized.” The army added that another “suspect” had been arrested.
