Vienna (OTS) – On Tuesday, July 25th, 2023, the City of Vienna – Road Administration and Road Construction will start with the construction of sidewalk extensions to reduce the crossing lengths for pedestrians and to improve visibility at the intersection of Sternwartestrasse and Semperstrasse in the 18th district.
traffic measures
The work will take place during the day while maintaining a lane width of 3.50 meters in each direction in the construction area of Sternwartestrasse. For the duration of construction, Semperstrasse will be a dead end at the junction with Sternwartestrasse, while at the same time eliminating the one-way street between Anastasius-Grün-Gasse and Sternwartestrasse, as well as Michaelerstrasse and Sternwartestrasse. Public transport and pedestrian traffic will remain open.
