The fourth major tournament of the current year is underway in golf: The Open 2023. Here at SPOX you can get all the information regarding the event as well as the broadcast on TV and live stream.
The oldest golf event still played is the only major tournament that takes place outside of the USA. The venue is Royal Liverpool Golf Club between 20 July 2023 and 23 July 2023.

Golf – The Open 2023 live today: The broadcast on TV and live stream
Like all other major tournaments, The Open 2023 will also be shown live and exclusively on the pay TV channel Sky. You can see the event on the Sky Sport Golf and Sky Sport Top Event channels.
The transmissions begin on Thursday (July 20) and Friday (July 21) at 7:30 a.m. German time. The show starts on Saturday (June 22) at 10 a.m., and on Sunday (June 23) Sky goes live at 11 a.m. Gregor Biernath, Florian Fritsch and Florian Bauer accompany the event as commentators.
If you prefer to use a live stream, you can do so via SkyGo. However, the service is only available to Sky subscribers. There is no broadcast of The Open 2023 on free TV.

Total prize money for The Open 2023 will be $16.5 million this year. This is an increase of regarding 18 percent compared to the previous year. The winner alone can look forward to winnings of three million US dollars.
“Our goal is to ensure the Open Championship remains at the forefront of golf and we have nearly doubled the prize pool since 2016. We believe getting this balance right is vital to ensuring the long-term future of the sport,” said Martin Slumbers, CEO of R&A.
