(dpa) The EU medicines agency EMA has given the green light for approval of the first vaccine that can protect babies once morest the so-called respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Protection once morest the respiratory disease is built up by vaccinating the mother during pregnancy, the EMA announced on Friday in Amsterdam. The EU Commission still has to approve the approval of the Abrysvo vaccine.
