PACHUCA DE SOTO, 20 JUL /NEWS HIDALGO/.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Hidalgo announces the start of the 2023 Recreational Vacation Course, which will be taught at the Social Security Centers (CSS) of Pachuca, Tepeji del Río and Ciudad Sahagún, is aimed at girls and boys from 6 to 13 years old, and offers a wide variety of physical, sports and recreational activities.
From July 31 to August 25, this course will take place, in which children will have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities, such as: games and sports, they will also be able to participate in craft workshops, music, theater, dance and many activities.
“The aim of the course is that children, with various activities that help foster their creativity, social skills and emotional development, will be able to make new friends, learn to work as a team, develop their self-esteem and confidence, and improve their communication and conflict resolution skills,” said Jonathan Meneses Ghenno, head of the Office of Physical Culture and Sports.
Meneses Ghenno stressed that in addition to being a fun option for children to spend their free time, the 2023 Recreational Vacation Course has important benefits for the health of infants, since by carrying out physical and sports activities, the participants will be able to improve their cardiovascular condition, increase their strength and muscular resistance, as well as develop motor skills and coordination.
Likewise, the relationship that is stable with coexistence creates an atmosphere of camaraderie and collaboration that promotes this recreational course, it also has mental and social benefits.
The head of the Office of Physical Culture and Sports highlighted that parents have until Friday, July 28, to register, and among the requirements are: 1 child-sized photograph and a copy of the INE of the father, mother or guardian, responsible for picking up the student, proof of address 2023, copy of the health card (person entitled), copy of school ID or last report of the child who wishes to register, as well as a medical examination with the legend “suitable for physical activity”.
He also pointed out that in the case of the CSS of Pachuca it is necessary that his medical examination indicate no mycosis and no pediculosis, this in order to be able to enter the pool and carry out the scheduled aquatic activities.
