IAA Mobility 2022: Unveiling Tomorrow’s Mobility at the International B2B Summit

2023-06-12 07:00:00

At the IAA Mobility this year, unlike in 2021, the two target groups of trade visitors and the general public will be separated in terms of space and content. In the so-called “IAA Open Space” in downtown Munich with free access, the “mobility of tomorrow” will be presented in the form of individual exhibits from the manufacturers. The summit, on the other hand, with its heart, the IAA Conference, will take place from September 5th to 8th at the exhibition center in Munich-Riem for trade visitors (B2B) alone. More than 500 speakers with keynotes and contributions have been announced in six halls and on three stages. “The IAA Summit is the most important international B2B platform for mobility,” says VDA Managing Director Jürgen Mindel.

Speakers from the automotive industry include Oliver Blume (CEO Volkswagen), Stefan Hartung (CEO Bosch) and Nikolai Setzer (CEO Continental). But Sandra Wolf, boss of the Hessian bicycle manufacturer Riese & Müller, and Meredith Glaser, managing director of the Urban Cycling Institute in Amsterdam, will also speak at the IAA Conference. Olaf Scholz and VDA President Hildegard Müller as well as the CEO of Deutsche Bahn, Richard Lutz and Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr (CEO Lufthansa) also want to discuss future mobility in a social and political context.

In addition, the CEOs of tech giants such as Qualcomm (Christiano Amon) and Infineon (Jochen Hanebeck) and suppliers such as Valeo (Christophe Perillat) have announced themselves. The IAA Mobility intends to publish a list of all speakers at the beginning of July. (awm)
