“Gentlemen, users of cabin 117, I remind you that you are being monitored by security cameras, at the next station you will be disembarked by security personnel,” an official said through the cabin’s internal speaker.
Later, at that precise moment, it was when the young people noticed that there was a camera and that they were recorded.
The events in the video, which has a recording date of June 24, around 1:00 in the followingnoon, were classified as a crime by the authorities for which they are looking for the couple.
The protagonists broke the silence
After the video went viral on the internet, the woman came out to defend herself, among other things, because she was already tired of the accusations and comments of all kinds from Internet users.
The affected woman was the first to break the silence and to demonstrate the damage to her reputation that she had suffered following the scandal. The young woman, identified as Tatiana Suárez, affirmed that they have been impersonating her and that she has suffered a lot from the attacks, following having closed her social networks.
However, Tatiana claimed to return to them because she does not want to “give up”.
“Everyone will believe that things are easy, but they don’t know because of the situation I’m going through as a woman, discrimination, bullying, mockery, etc. I only ask for respect and consideration, and please don’t spread the video anymore. Life goes on and I have to get ahead, ”she stated in one of his posts.
Those of the cable car spoke out and took action
Although the Guayaquil Aerosuspendido Consortium, operator of the transport system, rejected the acts “that violate morality and good customs”, it also condemned “the dissemination of audiovisual material”. In this way and with just cause, according to them, the collaborator who was in charge of promoting and uploading the video on social networks, lost his job.

“It is important to highlight that this is an isolated event, which should not affect the commercial operation of this means of transport,” they explained in the statement they published.
Something to keep in mind is that the recorded couple might take legal action for violation of privacy, as stated by the prosecutor César Peña for the local newspaper Extra from Ecuador.
However, so far neither of the two involved has initiated or shown the intention to take legal action.
