VVS Laxman will be the head coach of the Indian team in the Asian Games which will be held before the ICC ODI World Cup. The Asian Games cricket competition will be held in China from September 19 to October 7.
Rituraj Gaikwad will lead the Indian team as the key players prepare for the ODI World Cup in India. Senior players like Shikhar Dhawan and Ravichandran Ashwin have also not been included in the India team. While the men’s team includes only young players, the women’s team goes to the Asian Games with key players. Malayali star Minnu Mani has also been included in the team.
VVS Laxman will be India’s head coach for the Ireland tour following the ongoing West Indies tour. On the other hand, Rahul Dravid will be the head coach for the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka as well as the World Cup.
