Four fictions will be on the bill: “Banel and Adama” by Franco-Congolese director Ramata-Toulaye Sy, “Richelieu” by Canadian Pier-Philippe Chevigny, “The Goldman Trial” by Frenchman Cédric Kahn and “Vincent must die” by French Stephan Castang. The program is completed by “One of a thousand hills”, a documentary on the Rwandan genocide directed by the Belgian Bernard Bellefroid. Finally, the sixth title unveiled on Wednesday is “Nina and the secret of the hedgehog”, an animated film produced by the Franco-Luxembourgish duo formed by Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli. In total, no less than a hundred films from the 88 states and governments forming the Francophonie will be screened during this 88th edition. Last year, it was “Sous les figs” by Franco-Tunisian director Erige Sehiri who received the Bayard d’or for “Best film”. (Belga)
