Ubisoft updates Hungry Sharks game with content inspired by the movie Megatubarão 2 and the traditional Shark Week
Ubisoft has just released a fun update to its Hungry Sharks mobile game franchise in celebration of two of the biggest shark-related events of 2023. Next to the launches of Shark Week – Discovery’s annual program with documentaries, podcasts and other content related to ferocious marine animals – and the movie Megatubarão 2, by Warner Bros. Pictures, users of the Hungry Sharks World and Hungry Sharks Evolution games have a series of temporary novelties available to enjoy on the screen of Android and iOS smartphones.
Users of the free game can already have fun with customized items from two of the biggest shark-related events of the year; week of Discovery’s special programming returns on July 23, while the Warner Bros. Pictures arrives in theaters worldwide on August 4
Hungry Shark World will be celebrating Shark Week through August 3rd, during which time players will find Discovery Shark Week 2023 content in-game, including themed accessories such as towels, flags, lanyards and hats.
Additionally, by July 22nd, all game difficulty levels will be unlocked, and by July 29th, select sharks will receive health, speed, and boost upgrades. Between August 3rd and September 15th, the game will still feature in-game communications related to the Megatubarão 2 movie and players will be able to get more power for the Ancient Megalodon Shark and the Megalodon Shark.
The game Hungry Shark Evolution also celebrates Shark Week until the 23rd of this month, offering themed accessories and a special Shark Week battle pass. From July 24th to August 7th, the game will introduce a new event, Meg Vs. Kraken, in which it will be possible to play as the Megashark and the Kraken in alternating missions every two days. In them, you will have to eat as many sharks as possible within a limited period or try to survive as long as possible in the match. Also, from July 30th to August 6th, the Megalodon shark will have its stats increased.
