NBA – At 27, Jahlil Okafor goes to Spain, near Zaragoza, two years following leaving the United States.
Former young NBA talent, Jahlil Okafor went abroad for two years now and his tour of the globe continues.
After discovering China and then Mexico (G-League) over the past two years, he is now joining Spain, where a one-year contract with the club Zaragoza l’attend.
At 27, the 3rd choice of the 2015 Draft will therefore set foot in Europe for the first time, in one of the toughest leagues on the planet. Despite his limitations in defense, s
his “old school” interior profile, very gifted offensively, can allow him to do damage in the paint.
In six seasons in the Big League, for a total of 247 games spread between Philadelphia, Brooklyn, New Orleans and then Detroit, Jahlil Okafor has a career average of 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds.
Often injured, he never became a dominant pivot, as one might imagine when he left Duke.
