Without the extreme tension of Carolina Losada and Maximiliano Pullaro at the provincial level, the first numbers in Rosario give very even disputes for mayor. Pablo Javkin, who is running for re-election, gathers the most votes and he has the journalist at a relative distance Miguel Angel Tessandori. On the other side, in Juntos Avancemosthe fight between Roberto Sukerman and Juan Monteverde is vote to vote.
Around 8:30 p.m. with just over 2 percent of the tables computed, Javkin was ranked as the candidate with the most votes and this was highlighted from his bunker in the Patio de la Madera. Tessandori was regarding 100 votes, but surprisingly, above Sukerman who was fighting vote to vote with Monteverde.
The fact that Javkin is running for re-election has put his tenure into debate. That is why he was not surprised that during the campaign his internal rivals criticized him with more or less force.
The mayor stressed, meanwhile, his claims to the Nation and province, which he accuses of having abandoned the city and not having fulfilled the responsibility of providing security. He also put on the table the unfavorable framework of the pandemic that he had to overcome in the first two years of his work in the municipality.
Tessandori campaigned little but it has a strength that is enhanced by the single ticket system, paradoxically a creation of Javkin in his time as provincial deputy: a very high level of knowledge, the result of his decades of work in from 12 to 14 (Three).
On the other front, Sukermanwho in 2019 was a few points behind Javkin, as the sole representative of Peronism, disputes the candidacy with Monteverdewhich has the support not only of Ciudad Futura but also of the Evita Movement and which also aspires to fish in an electorate that may be upset with the agreement between the former Progressive Front and the PRO.
There is a third list in Juntos headed by Luis Humberto Báez, representative of the original peoples.
