Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center of the Meteorological Authority, said that some areas in Egypt will record 45 degrees Celsius, specifically in Luxor and Aswan, pointing out that it is affected by an extension of an air elevation in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which is the thermal dome.

Manar Ghanem added, during an intervention on the “From Egypt” program presented by the journalist Amr Khalil, on the CBC channel, that the air rise is always present in the upper layers of the atmosphere at a height of 5 to 6 kilometers from the surface of the earth, and we are also affected by the seasonal depression of India.

Manar Ghanem pointed out that we have a rise in temperatures, humidity levels, and a calm in wind speeds, and the maximum over Cairo is 38 degrees Celsius, which is the degree of shade, and the tangible one is two degrees higher, and my presence under the sun for a long time makes me feel the high temperatures, stressing that the hot weather will continue until the end of the week.
