The Minister of Labor chairs the graduation ceremony of the 8th class of the Higher School of Social Security

ALGIERS- The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Fayçal Bentaleb chaired on Saturday in Algiers, the graduation ceremony of the 8th promotion of the Higher School of Social Security “Mohamed Saleh Mentouri”, having benefited from training in several Social Security specialties, which was named following the late Moudjahid and former Minister of Labor and Social Security “Moouloud Oumeziane”.

During a speech delivered on the occasion of the ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebiga, representatives of academic institutions, sector officials and local authorities, Mr. Bentaleb welcomed “the good results recorded by the School in terms of specialized training and qualitative supervision since its creation in 2014”, estimating the overall number of graduates at 500 students, including 25 from 9 friendly countries, in particular from Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Cameroon, Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), Chad, Guinea and Togo.

The Minister also praised the efforts of the students throughout the 2022-2023 academic year, which was “crowned with good results, especially since these students represent the cornerstone of support for the work of the establishments and security funds. which need qualified elements for the purposes of effective management”.

Mr. Bentaleb considers in this respect that “the unbridled changes in the economic field, in particular with the arrival of new technologies, require that more importance be given to the content of the training program, to be in tune with the latest advances , and ensure skills suitable for managing the field of social security, which makes it possible to bring added value to the world of work”.

The senior official also insisted that “investing in the human element is the main objective for the realization of sustainable development”, highlighting the educational programs adopted, developed in collaboration with the international organization of Labor (ILO) in terms of training, qualification and supervision”.

A certificate of thanks and recognition was also presented by the Ministers of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and that of the Mujahideen and Beneficiaries, to the family of the deceased Moudjahid Mouloud Ou Meziane. The promotion majors who arrived at the first, second, and third place in the general classification were also distinguished.
