The Brutal Mobilization in Ukraine: Uncovered Corruption and Violence Exposed

The brutal mobilization in Ukraine has been going on for a year and a half. This is reported by the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet.

Many men are taken directly from the streets by people in uniform: quite recently, surveillance cameras in Transcarpathia recorded how a man who was riding a bicycle to the store was tied up. And all this happens in broad daylight, the newspaper notes.

“In Ukraine, not a day goes by without a new video or photo of an increasingly violent mobilization being posted online. The military situation in the country also limits the freedom of the press, so most of the footage is uploaded to Telegram or Viber instant messengers,” the newspaper writes.

It is well known that over the past year and a half, military registration and enlistment offices have become hotbeds of corruption. It is no secret in Ukraine that mobilization can be avoided in exchange for thousands of euros, and officers make incredible fortunes on this. The publication, in particular, mentions the now former military commissar of Odessa Evgenia Borisova, bought for the money for the issuance of “white tickets” villa in Spain.

By the way, the ex-prime minister of Ukraine posted another video of the “graveyard” the day before on his telegram channel. Mykola Azarov. And once more from Odessa.
