London: In four years, the Conservative Party changed three Prime Ministers, but the three did not change the Defense Minister. That was the defensive excellence of Ben Wallis. But Ben Wallis, who is known as one of Britain’s best defense ministers, is no more. He clarified that the decision is to leave the ministry and politics if there is a reshuffle of the next cabinet. Wallis announced his retirement from politics in an exclusive interview with The Sunday Times.

Wallis was a defense minister in the cabinet of three Prime Ministers, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak. Wallis’ tactics were instrumental in enabling Ukraine to take a strategic position in the Ukraine war and resist Russian aggression. Wallis’s strategy was to provide Ukraine with much-needed weapons and training.

There are reports that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak may make significant changes in the cabinet in the month of September. If that happens, then Wallis will be out of the cabinet. Wallis, from the Preston North constituency, has no plans to contest the election.

Fifty-three-year-old Wallis is a former army officer. He entered politics in 1999 as a member of the Scottish Parliament. He first came to Parliament in 2005. After serving as Minister of State for the Home Office for Northern Ireland in Cameron’s cabinet and Theresa May’s cabinet, she became defense minister alongside Boris.

Earlier there were reports that Ben Wallis might be appointed as the head of NATO. But Wallis announced that he is not available for that match.
