Magic. The experience offered by the Dinner On The Lake concept is still just as good. Since 2016 already, it has taken gastronomy lovers on board for a tasty and timeless moment, in the heart of nature. A culinary escape on the water which, this year, is anchored for the first time in Wallonia. And more precisely, in Neupré, in the province of Liège.
The wonder is total. And, despite the successive editions since 2016, it has not weakened. The floating restaurant of Dinner On The Lake was relaunched last May, offering itself for the first time a stopover in Wallonia. The Château de Neuville in Neupré provides this new boarding point with an enchanting setting. Until next September, the platform will cross the waters bordering this castle built in the 18th century, allowing food lovers to admire this architectural marvel up close. A spectacle that plays out before our eyes and that continues to change to the rhythm of the coming sunset.
A moment out of time. Especially since on board the “Floating Table”, everything has been thought out to take full advantage of the table. Heaters and plaids are available when the temperatures cool down. The impeccable service, meanwhile, wants to be discreet so as not to disturb.

If enchantment is everywhere you look, it is also on the plate. Behind the stoves of this ephemeral restaurant is the chef Clothilde Jansemme of “Tous le monde à table”. A young chef, yes, but one of impressive creativity and professionalism. The dishes, executed to the minute and to perfection, followed one another, dazzling our taste buds. Special mention for this langoustine, cucumber, avocado and mango tartare. A dish with simple appearances, but of an incredible delicacy.
The menu, which changes every month, consists of two starters and five main courses, followed by a dessert. Everything is accompanied by wines, waters, teas and coffees. To meet the greatest number, the formula is available in a carnivorous version, but also vegetarian, or only composed of fish.

The unforgettable experience is lived near Liège, but also on three lakes in Flanders: in Dilbeek, Deurne and Lochristi. This year, Dinner On The Lake pushes the wonder even further. After sunset, the evening ends with a magnificent play of lights enhancing the surrounding nature. A unique experience that will delight your taste buds, but also your eyes.
