They were eagerly awaited, the four musicians of Digabestr, a formation born, as Koulm Puillandre recalled, “200 m from here, at the Diwan high school”. In fact, the particularly young audience was largely made up of pupils or former pupils of the Diwan high school, who had come to encourage their former comrades Aziliz Laudrin (on the violin), Gurvan Le Meur (guitar), Ambre Thiémé and Koulm Puillandre (on the song). Noémie, a Breton living in Gironde, had never heard of this group which she adored: “I found them really good. It feels good to find your roots, ”she says.

Ambre Thiémé and Koulm Puillandre have followed Rozenn Talec’s teaching for ten years and have been singing as a duo for years. More concert than ball

Difficult, however, to enter the round under the crowded marquee. Aurélie, who regularly practices Breton dance in her native Charente, would have liked to be able to dance, but threw in the towel. “As a result, it was more concert than ball, but the group was great. The singers are great and have really superb voices, ”she said. The group’s performance received a strong ovation from an ecstatic audience. It is true that this young formation promised to a bright future has gained a lot of confidence in recent years.
