Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the Sheba Medical Center on Saturday, according to his office.

Netanyahu’s office said, in a statement, that the hospital’s initial examinations “came normal,” following he was transferred to the hospital, and that “the initial assessment is (his) dehydration.”

The statement added that the Israeli Prime Minister spent hours in the hot weather yesterday in the Sea of ​​Galilee.

He continued: “Today, he complained of mild dizziness and, on the recommendation of his personal physician, Dr. Zvi Berkowitz, arrived at the emergency room at Sheba Medical Center.

Netanyahu’s office said that the initial tests were “normal” and that “the initial assessment is dehydration,” noting that “on the recommendation of doctors, the prime minister continues to undergo additional routine examinations.

Opposition leader Yair Lapid, in a tweet, wished Netanyahu a “full recovery and good health.”

Later, Netanyahu issued a video statement on Saturday, noting that he was dehydrated and advising people to drink more water.

Netanyahu said: “Yesterday I spent some time with my wife on the Sea of ​​Galilee, in the sun, without a hat, without water. Not a good idea, so I first want to thank all of you for your interest and also for the excellent teams here in Sheba that checked me out.
