In Manicaragua, Villa Clara, a father and his son were detained by the authorities following committing the crime of theft and slaughter of cattle.

The news was disseminated on various social media profiles, which confirmed that it was Carlos Libán Pérez Sarduy and Lisvany Pérez Fernández.

Both citizens are detained by the police authorities and are accused of stealing and killing a fattening bull, owned by citizen Reinier Rodríguez.

The owner of the animals currently resides in the town of Manacal, as reported on the Facebook platform, the official profile “Fuerza del Pueblo”.

In addition, in a search of the home of both defendants, meat and other means that they used to commit this type of crime were seized.

There are not a few residents of the town who describe them as violent or problematic people, since they have also served time in prison for other offenses.

Meanwhile, the residents of the area expressed their peace of mind regarding the arrest of these criminals.

The truth is that on previous occasions they had already been victims of theft and animal sacrifice. The most common: horses, cows, pigs or goats, which were stolen from the neighbors’ own yards.

The never ending story…

The theft and slaughter of cattle does not seem to have an end in the Cuban fields. Also in Manicaragua, Villa Clara, another citizen was arrested following the police authorities carried out a search of his home.

During the investigation, the police found more than 150 pounds of beef, as well as bloody instruments and clothing.

On this occasion, the perpetrator of the crime was identified as Severino Contrera Rodríguez and would have done the same with six copies of a cooperative.

In this way, while the six animals from the Basic Cooperative Production Unit “El Abra” were grazing, this citizen committed the crime.
