This week, the reality show Big Brother de Chilevisión had one of its most emotional moments following Trinidad Cerda (Trini) shared her story with her fellow prisoners and revealed that she is a transgender woman.
“I was born with another gender kids (…) I have lived my whole life in some way, trying to go as unnoticed as possible so as not to cause too much noise, so as not to harm myself, But it’s a story I have to tell with pride”, Trini said on that occasion.
Inside the studio house, the young actress and cabin crew member received the support of most of the participants, who gave her words of encouragement and highlighted her courage.
After the broadcast of her speech, on social networks several followers of the program and acquaintances from Trinidad spoke out in favor of the young woman. One of them was her mother, Carolina Baezawho, in conversation with LUNvalued the displays of affection towards his daughter.
“I was always expectant. I knew that the confession was going to come at some point, but I did not know when and I always asked God to guide her to do it at the right time so that it would reach the hearts of the people, which is what she wanted,” Baeza explained. .

It is worth noting that the cabin crew decided to expose her story following feeling that the jokes of some fellow prisoners, Maite and Viviana, were directed at her. After talking regarding it with “Big Brother”, the young woman chose to tell her truth to explain her reaction.
Seeing that moment on television, Trini’s mother confessed that she cried and felt proud of her daughter’s decision. “It was a cry to finally let go of what I had inside. Everything he said on the show he previously told me.”Baeza said.
