Publisher Focus Entertainment announced on July 13th that DONT NOD’s action RPG “Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden” will be released on November 7th. Supported platforms are PC (Steam) / PS5 / Xbox Series X|S. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is an action RPG set in North America in 1695, in a region called New Eden, infested with ghosts and monsters. The two main characters, Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, are lovers and make a living as ghost hunters called Banishers in this world. The two Banishers, who were fighting to protect people from the threat of spiritual existence, made a mistake in a certain mission. Due to the fatal wound received at that time, Antea becomes a ghost that is the arch-enemy of the Banishers. The player controls two people who are normally incompatible, the living and the dead, who support each other, and adventure in the world of New Eden. Players operate Red, who uses swords and guns, and Antea, who uses spiritual abilities, depending on the situation. It seems that technical and speedy action is possible. In the gameplay video below, you can also see some scenes where the two are hunting ghosts. DON’T NOD, the developer of this work, is known for the “Life is Strange” series, “Vampyr” and “Tell Me Why”. It is a game studio that handles titles that entrust the player with choices and have a narrative storyline that changes accordingly.
