the essentials in brief
Intel is stamping its NUC projects. In the future, they want to focus more on advisory activities.
The first quarter of 2023 was marked by losses for Intel. The company made $2.8 billion minus, reports “Golem”. This means that sales have fallen by more than 36 percent compared to previous years.
Accordingly, measures must now be taken. Intel has decided to scrap its NUC projects. In the future, the company no longer wants to produce mini-computers itself, but rather advise its business partners in this regard. The fact that the latest NUC was not able to fully convince the customers may also have contributed to this decision.
However, as “Digitec” reports, Intel fans do not have to worry regarding other product lines. NUC should remain the only abolished project.
