Already very cute, the 2023 vintage of the Hall of Fame takes on even more cachet when we take a look at the names that will present the inductees this year. Be careful, there are legends per square meter, see you on August 12 to see all these little people in Springfield, Massachusetts.

In exactly one month, Tony Parker and the whole gang of 2023 will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. An individual consecration and a real collective moment since each member of the class is introduced by one or more of the people who have guided them on the path to the basketball grail. And this year? The names CLICK.

The list of future members of the Hall of Fame, with the people who will introduce them!

TP for example will – of course – be accompanied by his two lifelong acolytes, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. The three, joined by David Robinson, will then release their best verses to introduce MONSIEUR Gregg Popovich. The four best players in franchise history themselves and their five-time champion coach, all Hall of Famers, Texas can be proud of. The Spurs raid is not quite over since Becky Hammon, former assistant to Pop, will also enter the Memorial du basketball. Behind the mic to present it? Two WNBA legends: Sheryl Swoopes and Teresa Weatherspoon.

In this very international vintage, Pau Gasol will have as +1 another beautiful legend of European basketball; Toni Kukoc. A Croatian-Spanish collab with 5 combined NBA titles, each a World Champion title in the bag. Oh yes anyway.

And since there are never enough basketball monsters in Springfield, Dirk Nowitzki will arrive in town with Jason Kidd and Steve Nash to offer him a little speech in memory of the caviars distributed in Dallas. Dwyane Wade, who is also making his Hall of Fame appearance this year, has chosen Allen Iverson to represent him. Colleagues at the 2004 Olympic Games, that’s a great duo to make the evening even more Flash(y).

Go one last legend to be present in Massachusetts on August 12, just for fun. Inducted into the Hall of Fame two years ago, Chris Bosh will be there to talk regarding college coaching icon Gene Bess.

NBA, WNBA, University, we will have everything in the city of Simpsons this year. The kind of moment that reminds us that basketball is much more than a game and that just because it’s August doesn’t mean we can’t get out the tissues.
