Ras Al Khaimah is also blessed with natural beauty. Sectors like five-star hotels and adventure tourism are also attracting more foreign investment. The authorities have stated that within seven years there will be 10,000 job opportunities in the hotel sector alone. The plan is to build 450-room hotels this year and 1,000-room hotels in 2024.
Ras Al Khaimah is also gaining strength in indigenous investments. Thousands of foreign companies have already completed the registration process, along with the development of a new freezone for digital and virtual companies. The authorities are also finding new development potential in the vacant areas of Ras Al Khaimah. The government of Ras Al Khaimah is trying to launch more projects to attract tourists from the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Current tourist arrivals are estimated to quadruple by 2030.
