The demand for NFL tickets for the games in Germany is bursting at the seams. Almost three million football fans queued at Ticketmaster.de for the NFL game between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts on November 12, 2023.
For comparison: For the NFL Germany game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, 1.5 million football fans queued up hoping to get one of the coveted NFL tickets. Thus, the demand for the Patriots vs. Colts game has doubled!
NFL Tickets: Nearly three million fans in the Ticketmaster queue
Only a few had a realistic chance of getting one of the NFL tickets. Once once more, most went away empty-handed. As in the NFL game between the Chiefs and the Dolphins on November 5, 2023 in Frankfurt and the NFL Germany Game 2022 in Munich’s Allianz Arena.
Frustration ran deep for some. With waiting list numbers of just under three million, all hopes of an NFL ticket in Germany to be able to watch one of the two NFL games in Frankfurt/Main live in the stadium were dashed.
Didn’t get an NFL ticket? RTL shows NFL games live
There is no end in sight to the NFL boom in Germany. While interest in the Bundesliga is stagnating, football fans in Germany are growing. Also because RTL, one of the largest and most well-known TV broadcasters, is getting into NFL transmission.
In the future, RTL will broadcast up to three games per week on free TV on the main channel and on Nitro. In addition, one game per week will be shown exclusively on the paid streaming service RTL+. In addition to RTL, you can also use DAZN NFL-Game-Pass acquire.
