The sparrows have been whistling it from the rooftops for a long time, here and there the first credible information has recently leaked out, and at the two Berlin concerts over the weekend the hardly misinterpretable announcement “10.07. | 10.00 CET” on the screens. But now it’s really official: Depeche Mode continue their tour in 2024!
29 other dates in Europe were made public on July 10 at 10 a.m., six of them in Germany. Depeche Mode play twice in Berlin and Cologne as well as in Hamburg and Munich. There would also be room for a lot of additional concerts in the tour schedule. The Ticket pre-sale (Presale, information) starts on Friday, July 14, initially exclusively at Ticketmaster (for Telekom MagentaMusik customers even the day before). Tickets will go on sale via Eventim from July 17th. It is to be expected once more from an unprecedented battle.

Colossal Triumph
The synth giants’ 15th album tour kicked off shortly before the release of Memento Mori in North America. 36 shows in Europe followed. Despite the somewhat spartan stage and a set list that differs little from that of the previous tour, the tour has once once more developed into a triumphal procession and can unleash incredible storms of enthusiasm everywhere. Almost half a million tickets have been sold for the eight concerts in Germany so far. In Germany, at most, a handful of bands can easily fill the Berlin Olympic Stadium twice to the last corner.
After further dates from September in Central and North America, the third part of the tour ends with four gigs in December in Los Angeles. It’s a good thing that Depeche Mode is far from over…
