The work of Nerú Martínez Carrill, choreographer, mental and physical health guide, has been liked by the Presidency of the Republic, so much so that on July 6 he signed a new six-month contract to continue providing “management support to the Well-being and Development Group of the Human Talent Office, in carrying out activities in the field of mental and physical health, which contribute to the improvement of the work environment”.
The value of the contract is 43.3 million pesos and it will continue to carry out the seven functions it has had in recent months, such as: practicing physical conditioning activities for Dapre officials; make videos promoting healthy habits and sports; guide virtual or face-to-face training processes in physical and mental health, among others
According to the contract documents, all of Nerú Martínez’s experience is in the public sector, precisely in the previous contracts in the Presidency, but also in various contracts he had during the mayoralty of Gustavo Petro, such as the Secretary of Social Integration and the Institute of Recreation and Sports.
Additionally, within the new contract, it is specified that if it is necessary for Mr. Martínez to travel outside the city or the country, he may receive the expenses for transportation, lodging and maintenance, that is, the activities in terms of physical and mental health of the contractor might be carried out in other countries.
The Presidency has certified during the last months that Martínez has complied with his obligations; for example: in April they paid him to do a meeting with the wellness group to make a video and he promised to send an audio the following month for the same, for two fitness classes on April 20 and 27, a video inviting to their classes, among others.
