Russia’s Mira Andreeva qualified for the round of 16 at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, defeating her compatriot Anastasia Potapova in two sets, free of charge.
As in the last matches of the third round, Andreeva was able to defeat Potapova, the 21st seed, with a score of 6-2, 7-5.
This is the first time that the 16-year-old Andreeva has qualified for the round of 16 in one of the four major tournaments, where she will play in the next round once morest American Madison Keys.
