Vienna (OTS) – The Viennese video interpreting company SAVD was able to assert itself once morest the competition thanks to its expertise and quality and was commissioned by the state of Brandenburg to support public institutions with its remote interpreting service as nationwide as possible. The ministry plans to connect more than 1,000 public institutions in the federal state to the SAVD service.

Whether visiting the doctor, simple visits to the authorities or even when looking for a job. A lack of communication opportunities creates barriers in a variety of everyday situations. “On-site interpreting” is therefore often carried out – but this often results in long waiting times. The solution of SAVD: using professionally trained interpreters via audio or video.

The use of the service for the facilities is designed to be simple and intuitive. The software is provided by SAVD, via which the interpreters can be reached within a few minutes, depending on the language. The only requirements from the public sector: a stable internet connection and devices that make remote communication possible.

Born out of a scientific pilot project in 2014, the rapidly growing Viennese company SAVD, which is now the market leader in the field of audio and video interpreting in Austria and Germany with over 20,000 interpreting sessions per month, has now secured the tender from the state of Brandenburg. The facilities cover a wide variety of areas of public service, such as hospitals, offices, advice centers and women’s shelters. Due to the war of aggression by Russia once morest Ukraine and the associated wave of migration, the language requirement includes Arabic, Turkish and many other languages, especially Ukrainian.

Quality, performance and many years of experience pay off. With more than 60 languages offered in a short time and qualified interpreters, SAVD will therefore support another federal state in Germany in building bridges between languages and cultures. From the beginning of July, institutions in Brandenburg can register for the digital language service. It is estimated that over 1,000 institutions are expected, according to the ministry.
