The Piton de la Fournaise continues its show
The volcano begins its ninth day of eruption this Monday, July 10, 2023. More than a week following the start of the show, the activity continues and is now concentrated at altitudes above 1300 m at the top of the Grandes Pentes. The flow of the lava takes place partly in a tunnel in the immediate vicinity of the volcanic cone which continues its construction, even if flows are still visible. The flow front has not changed since July 5 and is still 1.8 km from the RN2.

89.8% success rate for the baccalaureate, 85.3% for the patent
The success rate for all bacs combined goes from 81.8% to 89.8% following the remedial tests announced the rectorate this Sunday, July 9, 2023. A rate which is slightly down (by 0.7 points) compared to 2022 (90.5%). It is also 1.1 points lower than the national success rate, which stands at 90.9%. The difference was 0.6 points in 2022. For patents, the overall success rate is 85.3%. It is up by 0.9 points compared to 2022 (84.4%)

Matante Rosina ate too much this weekend (yes, she’s a foodie!). To pass all this, she decides to make an ayapana herbal tea. Given the good weather this Monday, July 10, 2023, she puts on her slippers and heads for the “zerbaz” part of her yard to pick up some leaves from her foot. In full sun, it is very hot. She thinks the day will remain sunny.
