Don’t miss the duel between the Alouettes and the Lions on RDS and RDS.ca starting at 7 p.m.
The Montreal Alouettes will be looking to wake up offensively following a three-point performance once morest the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last week, as the team visits the BC Lions tonight.
The Sparrows made changes to the receiving group. Quartney Davis and Tyler Snead will make their CFL debuts joining Austin Mack, Keion Julian-Grant and Hergy Mayala. Last week Julien-Grant caught all six passes thrown at him for 129 yards while Mack caught six passes for 115 yards, including 93 in the fourth quarter alone.
Conversely, Montreal’s defense seems well organized. In three games this season, the defensive unit hasn’t allowed more than 17 points in a game. The last time Montreal launched a campaign like this was in 2004.
Cody Fajardo and Vernon Adams Jr. will be the starting quarterbacks for the matchup.
Adams leads the CFL in interceptions with eight, including six at the hands of the Toronto Argonauts last week.
The Lions will be looking to join the Bombers at the top of the West Division with four wins and a loss.
