Al-Marsad Newspaper: Cardiology consultant Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr commented on the marriage clip of a 90-year-old citizen.

Al-Nimr published the marriage clip on his Twitter account, and attached it to a comment: “The marriage of the elderly, regardless of his age and whatever his health condition – seeking affection and mercy – is a legitimate right in which none of his sons or daughters should support him.”

The pioneers of social networking sites circulated a video documenting the marriage of an “elderly”, 90-year-old in Afif.

During the video, the documented clip directed his speech to the elderly groom, saying: “Congratulations on the wedding, my grandfather, with well-being and children.” The old man replied: “God willing.”

Marriage of the elderly, regardless of their age and whatever their state of health is – seeking love and mercy – is a legitimate right that should not be hindered by any of its sons or daughters.
