The Directorate of Health Affairs in the Najran region announced the first phase of the trial operation of the Najran General Hospital in the Aba Al-Saud neighborhood, following its re-establishment and development, which is the oldest hospital in the region, starting from tomorrow, Sunday.

She explained that she seeks to provide health services to patients and visitors with high quality, by providing consulting services in outpatient clinics, and receiving patients from health centers affiliated to the hospital.

And she indicated that these centers are: Al-Houdn, Dahdah, Al-Shabhan, Al-Qabil, Nahuqa, Al-Jarba, Al-Safa, Al-Marata, Al-Balad, Aba Al-Saud, and Al-Moufjah, from Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 noon, and from 1 pm to 4 pm.

The Civil Defense had issued a report in 2016 on the hospital, counting 22 observations and handing it over to the Ministry of Health. The Civil Defense disclaimed any responsibility for any emergency that might occur at the time, while the Ministry of Health summoned consulting offices from Riyadh to assess the situation.

The civil defense report on time included urgent demands that were not implemented, most notably: changing fire extinguishers to powder, maintaining electrical installations, covering manholes with a safe cover, placing indicative panels on oxygen tanks outside and protecting them, maintaining elevators, changing emergency doors, and others.

Last year 1443 AH, the Emir of Najran, Prince Gallawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, visited the hospital project and noted the leadership’s support for Najran, and listened to an explanation of the projects to develop the treatment and service departments implemented in the hospital, on an area of 7500 square meters, with 3 floors, 52 inpatient beds, and 18 nurseries, in addition to the usual departments. .
