Eduardo Verástegui, Mexican Catholic actor and producer, invited his colleague Harrison Ford, star of the Indiana Jones saga, to see his film Sound of Freedom (Sound of Freedom) starring Jim Caviezel, which addresses the drama of child trafficking.

The Indiana Jones saga began with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Arkin 1981. Always starring Harrison Ford in the role of archeology professor and adventurer Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones, Jr., the latest installment in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the dial of fatewas surpassed on July 4 by the premiere of Sound of Freedom. The following days of the week, Verástegui’s film has remained among the top three at the box office.
Directed by Alejandro Monteverde and distributed in the United States by Angel Studios, Sound of Freedom tells the story of Tim Ballard, who for more than a decade worked as a special agent for the United States Department of Homeland Security.
The film features Ballard during a mission, in which he rescues a child from the clutches of human traffickers. There he discovers that the boy’s sister is still in the hands of his captors.
To rescue her, the until then special agent of the Department of Homeland Security quits his job and embarks on a dangerous mission through the Colombian jungle.
In 2013, Ballard founded Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) along with other former government agents. This organization works in collaboration with authorities from various countries to rescue children from exploitative situations around the world.
In his Twitter message, Verástegui asked Ford a question: “Do you think that prof. Could Henry Walton Jones Jr. help us save children and fight trafficking?”
“Together we are stronger and with that strength we will be able to eradicate child trafficking,” concluded the Mexican producer.
