But what am I talking regarding?.. Oh yes, Michael. With his brand new “Tank” two series have already been released. And apparently, this is not the end. Well, in short, everything is not so smooth. And the buying process itself did not go according to plan, and the car, as it turned out, has minor flaws.
So, purchase. It would seem that you are buying not just anything and not from anyone. Everything should go like clockwork. But no. A luxury brand dealer has managed to screw it up. The car was not ready at the appointed time. I had to wait until the pre-sale preparation was done. At the same time, the interior upholstery was stained. The clock is not set! And regular rubber mats can make you look at the world from a new angle (they stink a lot).
When checking with a thickness gauge, it turned out that the color of the body elements is far from ideal and does not fit in with the word “luxury”. For example, in the corner of the tailgate, the LCP layer is almost two times smaller than in the rest of it, and it is less than one hundred microns.

Perhaps the biggest trouble of the car, according to Mikhail, is the work of a robotic gearbox. And this problem seems to be widespread. She “kicks” and twitches. At the same time, the test copy, which Mikhail drove long before the purchase, did not stand out with such a problem. So, this firmware already existed. Why didn’t they put it on all the cars they sell?

At the same time, off-road, the suspension pleases with its comfort and working out large bumps and potholes. Infuriates and the operation of the retention system in the band. Judging by the test in the video, she also reacts to oncoming cars and takes the Tank to the right. And you have to turn it off every time following starting the engine – the setting is not saved. And she works very hard.

The adaptive cruise control does not remember the parameters of its work yet. After braking, the cruise speed must be set once more. And the system keeps the distance to the car in front quite large even in the “minimum distance” mode.
The fuel consumption for this engine (V6 biturbo), as Mikhail notes, is simply huge. Even in a quiet mode of movement – 10-11 liters. In traffic jams, all 16. The tank, respectively, should have been put in more.
Salon, of course, cool. Everything is beautiful, high quality, pleasant. The back sofa is very comfortable. Ride there “in a buzz.” But there is a place in the cabin that spoils everything – this is an overlay with stars in front of the front passenger. “This is squalor,” says Mikhail.
