For the duration of the road closure, drivers must switch to Unterhimmlerstrasse via Aschacherstrasse, Christkindlstrasse, Reitnerstrasse, Fischerstrasse and Roseneggerstrasse. Cyclists can also use the cycle path below the Tomitzstrasse tunnel to Unterhimmel.
Alternatively, you can also take the 2b bus to the final stop Staffelmayrstraße (BMD) and the pedestrian bridge over the Steyr.
Since structural engineers see imminent danger, there is no alternative to the total closure of the bridge, including for pedestrians and cyclists.
