An ex-soldier threatened Prime Minister Alexander De Croo on social media this Friday morning, our colleagues from the Nieuwsblad report.
According to the Flemish media, the police took the matter seriously and local police officers from Kempenland set up a security perimeter around the Prime Minister’s house.
The video in question shows how the former soldier attaches a photo of Prime Minister De Croo to a tree and shoots it several times. The prosecution also confirms that a security zone has been set up around the house of Roy de Blicquylaan in Bourg-Léopold. In the interest of the investigation, both the mayor and the prosecution do not want to say anything more.
