Free since the end of his contract with the Hawks, Aaron Holiday bounces on the side of Texas. The point guard joins the Rockets for a year.
We’re filling in the holes on the Houston side. Looking for another point guard behind Fred VanVleet and Kevin Porter Jr., the Texas franchise decided to bring Aaron Holiday back to Toyota Center. According to Adrian Wojnarowski ofESPN, the guard has signed up for a season with the rockets. The amount of the deal was not mentioned but it is likely to be a minimum wage contract.
Free agent G Aaron Holiday has agreed to a one-year deal with the Houston Rockets, sources tell ESPN.

It’s obviously not the Woj Bomb that will get the crowds going but it is mentioned. At 26, Aaron Holiday continues his tour of the States. Since leaving the Pacers in 2021, the leader has chained the franchises. Houston will be the fourth in just three years. Last season, the player still played 63 games for the Hawks, for averages of 3.9 points and 1.4 assists in 13 minutes with the second unit.
Not sure brother Holiday will get huge playing time regardless, with Fred VanVleet, Kevin Porter Jr and rookie Amen Thompson all able to play in his position.
