Even though Resident Evil and Monster Hunter are Capcom’s best-selling franchises, many people probably still consider Mega Man their mascot. But it’s been a long time since we’ve seen Blue Bomber in any new adventures, and when he returns – mostly in retro series. Fortunately, Capcom hasn’t forgotten regarding him and is currently “considering what to do” with a new game in the franchise.In a recent question-and-answer session with Capcom shareholders, the company was asked regarding the future of Mega Man, and replied: “Including the latest entry in the series, Mega Man 11, Mega Man is one of Capcom’s historic IPs, Loved by fans, so we want to be more careful when developing the series. We are thinking regarding how to make a new entry in the series, which requires many factors, including developing solid concepts, ideas and gameplay. Considering Capcom’s past few years Midyear did a great job with their other classic brands, it will be very interesting to see what they come up with for Mega Man. Thanks
